Awful Day Ever
It all started with an case of morning hair. I couldn't make it to look right. As I was hurrying out the door, I stumbled and dropped my lunch all over myself. To make matters worse, I was totally running behind for a very important appointment.
I sweating. My {boss|friend|was absolutely furious. I attempted to explain, but it was no use.
The rest of the day was an absolute nightmare. Everything. I get anything done.
By the time I got home, I was completely drained. This day, this terrible day will be forever remembered as a Very bad day to forget.

It all started out horribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then it went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
